Early this summer our development office received a call from the Vermont Arts Council that a couple in Massachusetts was looking to make a gift of a suite of three outdoor pieces of art to a college in Vermont. Carolann and George Najarian — donors and art collectors — chose Johnson State…
If a freshman, started off the semester living on campus, but then wanted to commute from home because they missed home and living on campus just wasnt right for them and they only lived 27miles away., is that possible?
Your best bet would be to contact the Residence Life Office at 802-635-1200 and explain your situation.
How do I view my schedule online? I need the steps.
Login to the MyJSC portal (http://myjsc.jsc.edu). In the center column, you’ll see your Moodle classes, which are any of the classes you’ve registered for that your instructor has set up an online component to. Not all instructors use it, however; so, if you look just above the Moodle module, you’ll see, in red, Attention Students! That will tell you how to view your complete semester schedule.
I am looking to add my JSC email to my smartphone and it is asking for the server. I tried the ones listed on the website, but it didn't work. Thanks for the help
Sorry that you’re having trouble with the email set up. Your best bet is going to be Help Desk. Go to helpdesk.vsc.edu, login using the same username and password you use to get into the portal, and let them know that you are having issues. And we’ll follow up on our end to make sure that the instructions get updated as needed. Thanks!
My e-mail has been activated since June but I haven't received an email from Dianne. When does she usually send them out?
Just heard from Dianne today. She said: “The e-mail assigning boxes was sent to all the Incoming students yesterday (8/20). So the students should have all the info they need.
If they have more questions they can contact me at X 1231.” Happy mailing!
Do you have to live with your current roommate for a certain amount of time before you are able to switch(if you want to)?
Generally, we ask roommates to wait at least two weeks before requesting a room change. After that, room changes may only be approved by the Office of Residence Life and are based on our discretion only. We do try to honor requests in as timely a fashion as we can based on availability of space.
All that said, please let an RA or Hall Advisor know early on if there are problems with a roommate.
